Elizabeth Hurley has become the country gal. She has been inspired by the healthy farm life she has with her husband Arun Nayar and son Damian, 6. The actress has a crib in a bio-dynamic farm in the English countryside.

The actress-model is 43 and she is “developing a line of products … with a view that they’re not only going to be healthy, because they’re organic, but I’m obsessed that women find alternatives to eat which are low in fat.”

Hurley is also a very dedicated supporter of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and recently she was a representative in NY at Bloomingdale’s pink party.

She says her organic farm produces low-fat products, which may help reduce the risk of breast cancer.

“I think we know now that many issues with women’s health can be linked back to their diet,” she says. “We’ve been saying for a long time that many breast cancer specialists recommend sticking to as low-fat a diet as possible, which all has to do with how estrogen is stored in the body.”

She also emphasized the benefits of low-fat milk and other organic products.

“For a long time we’ve been telling women to try and follow a low-fat diet and try and switch from a high-fat milk to a zero-fat milk. Now we genuinely believe if any of even the zero fat milk is crammed full of antibiotics and hormones it can be very detrimental to your health.”

On Saturday, Paul Newman, a true screen hero and celebrity for more than half a century has died at the age of 83,it was announced Saturday.

Newman succumbed Friday after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by  his family and close friends at his farmhouse near Westport, Conn.

Famed for his intense blue eyes, his love of car racing and one of the coolest demeanors ever to heat up the silver screen, Newman was nominated for Oscars ten times.

But perhaps his proudest accomplishment, besides his 50-year marriage to actress Joanne Woodward, was starting Newman’s Own, which since 1982 has made popcorn, spaghetti sauce, lemonade and salad dressing and has donated more than $250 million to charities selected by Newman himself

Here we have some good news about the medical condition of air-tragedy victims Travis Barker and DJ AM.

The medical director of the Georgia burn center where the two are being treated, declares that both critically injured men are expected to make full recoveries, being treated for second- and third-degree burns.

Mullins says recovery from such burns can take as long as a year but says that the men suffered no other injuries, adding: “Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn’t suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected.”

Mullins says Barker was burned on his torso and lower body, while DJ AM, was burned on his arms and a portion of his head. The doctor described both as remaining in critical but stable condition and in the intensive-care unit of the hospital. Moreover he declares that% of burned patients have emotional problems after the recuperation.

The plane crashed  around midnight Friday and six people were on the plane, and the other four perished. They were pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles; and Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29, also of Los Angeles.

Travis Barker and DJ AM were among six people aboard a Learjet that crashed upon takeoff from a Columbia, South Carolina, airport after midnight Friday. The four others onboard were killed.

The ex-drummer for the rock band Blink 182 and the star of the MTV reality show Meet the Barkers, had performed at a free Friday-night college event with former Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell, Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM.

The 32 year old drummer was transported to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia, and was listed in critical condition Saturday morning – as was DJ AM (real name: Adam Michael Goldstein), 35, say officials at the facility.

“Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein are in critical but stable condition,” Beth Frits, spokesperson for the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, tells PEOPLE. “Goldstein was airlifted here and Barker was brought by ground transportation. So they arrived separately.”

The spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration declared that Lear 60 – bound for Van Nuys, Calif., with six people aboard – departed shortly before midnight Friday, when air-traffic controllers reported seeing sparks.

Barker and Goldstein perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM. DJ AM  at one time was a good friend of Paris Hilton, also being the fiancé of Nicole Richie.

After Blink 182, Barker formed the rock band (+44) and costarred on Meet the Barkers with former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, his wife at the time.

“Tony is a great quarterback, but he’s a better boyfriend,” Simpson declared to PEOPLE magazine at a Nina’s Night Out, a benefit for the Rape Crisis Center at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas on Thursday. “I’m seriously proud of myself for letting him into my life.”

Having her cuddled up next to him isn’t always such a relief, admitted Simpson.

“To be my man, you have to put up with a lot,” said the singer. “I toot under the sheets, I spend a lot of money and I can belch the ABC’s.”

One spicy thing is that during her 70-minute set featuring her album, Do You Know,Simpson forgot the lyrics to one of her best-known pop songs, “With You.”

This is what she declared about this little accident :”I did the same thing on Good Morning America,” said an apologetic Simpson, referring to her tech-challenged TV spot before starting the song over again.  “I’ve been singing that song for about 70 years and I forgot the lyrics. At least you guys knew them.”

While she is back on the right track, Britney Spears is throwing parties for her sons, to celebrate their birthday. Preston and Jayden had this Saturday a birthday bash with cars and trucks, and all their family.

Spears celebrated her boys’ special days – Preston turns 3 on Sept. 14, and Jayden turned 2 on Sept. 12 – with her younger sister and her newborn niece Maddie Briann, dad Jamie and mom Lynne.

The baby paty gathered around some famous babies of course, along with their more famous parents:  Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan, and Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston, 2, who came to the bash from an equally starry affair: He celebrated Heidi Klum’s son Henry’s 3rd birthday at the model’s Beverly Hills house along with all three of Victoria Beckham’s sons.

The two Spears kids had mini motorized cars to drive around, specially customized Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier. The cars featured tattoo-inspired decals, Ed Hardy air fresheners and personalized license plates. To keep with the party’s theme, the cake was in shape of a yellow truck.

“The boys received tons of birthday gifts. Britney and her family really made the party special for the boys”, a source declared about the party.

Even though she seems a sweet and innocent girl, Jessica Alba is very strong and determined. She recently appeared in a new campaign for the voter group DECLARE YOURSELF.

You can easily see the images are a bit shocking, but Jessica is very eager to fight for the cause she believes in:

“I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically,” says Alba. “People respond to things that are shocking.”

The dramatic image “really resonates” with the issue of voting, according to the 27-year-old star. “If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”

To loosen up a bit, Alba is declaring that she is very happy to be a mother, and that this has been the best thing that happened to her: “It is exhausting but way more fulfilling than anything I have done. Everything I do now is so much more meaningful because of her.”

Madonna fans – get ready to party! As her countdown to her Sticky & Sweet tour begins, the Queen of Pop is preparing to take fans on a “rock-driven, dancetastic journey,”

The singer kicked off her Sticky and Sweet Tour Saturday night in a glamorous way. She was sitting on a diamante “M” throne in a fringed black leotard and over-the-knee leather boots while she was singing the first track: Candy Shop,

The first tour city was Cardiff and Madonna had a very strong audience of 40,000 people who got to see on screen other artists also – Kanye West, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

The 50-year-old singer pulled out all the stops, even using a video interlude to send a political message with images of peace campaigners, Al Gore, Bono and Barack Obama mixed with scenes of war-torn continents and poverty.

Religious messages flashed on the screens behind her for a remixed house version of “Like a Prayer,” which was met with mass cheers.

After two hours, Madonna left the stage as the screen flashed “Game Over.”

The next pittstop will be in France, and in October in New Jersey.

It’s baby time in Hollywood. And for Matt Damon is baby girl ! Yes it’s number three for Matt and his wife,  Luciana.

“Matt and Lucy Damon had a baby girl named Gia Zavala on Wednesday, Aug. 20th. Everyone’s doing great,” Damon’s rep, Jennifer Allen, reports. “She is a healthy baby girl.”

The newest addition is the third little girl in the Damon household, joining big sisters Isabella, 2, and Alexia, 10.

Damon recently joked about living with so many females, telling USA Today from his home in Miami, “I’m so outnumbered down here, it’s crazy.”George Clooney, a good friend of Damon, recently declared that he is a phenomenal father who adores his kids. It’s not enough that he was declared the sexiest man alive by People magazine!

The lovely couple met in Miami Beach in 2003 while he was filming a movie and they became husband and wife in 2005 in Manhattan.

James McAvoy confesses he’d like to be the Sexiest Man Alive.

“I want to be like Matt Damon and do a hugely successful thinking-man’s action franchise like Bourne,” the Atonement star, currently costarring with Angelina Jolie in Wanted, says in the August cover story of Details. 

The Scotsman is 29 and he confesse to have had a pretty quiet lifestyle throughout his 20s. Instead of partying, in 2006 McAvoy settled down with actress Anne-Marie Duff, who is eight years his senior. But don’t expect him to dish on his wife or even his sister, says the interview.

“All of my friends got so drunk they couldn’t even walk, let alone dance, and you just stand there going, ‘So what am I going to do?’ ”

“If anybody wants to talk about their own family, fine,” McAvoy says. “It’s not that I think it’s wrong – it’s just that I think it’s dangerous.”
