The Duchess of Langeais Trailer

The action of the film is set at the begging of the 19th century in Paris, a time when vanity and hypocrisy made the rules in the high society.

The main character of the story is Antoinette, the Duchess of Langeais, a married woman who enjoys attending balls and to attract to attention upon her. After she meets Armand de Montriveau, the man falls in love with her and desperately tries to be with her.
But the selfish woman plays games of seduction and refuses him several times which will finally lead her to love. When this happens, Montriveau is already seeking for revenge because the time when he was romantic and filled with passion has passed.
