Scarlett Johansson’s first music album
Scarlett Johansson is not satisfied with her plain and simple career as an actress, so she decided to start exploring her artistic potential in other domains such as….music.
She is serious about this thing and to prove this, here is the album cover for her debut album.
The work is called Anywhere I Lay My Head, as you can also notice the very suggestive cover photo.
It will appear on May 20 and it features covers of alternative troubadour Tom Waits’s music, plus one original composition. Johansson was joined in the studio by David Bowie, who lends guest vocals on “Falling Down” and “Fannin Street.”
It was produced by TV on the Radio’s David Sitek. Moreover Sitek seems to have worked also on teh cover photo, taken taken in Louisiana, where they recorded the disc.
