Paris Hilton is “Woman of the Year”

Paris Hilton was just awarded the Harvard Lampoon’s Woman of the Year award Wednesday on the steps of the “Lampoon Castle” in Cambridge, MA.

After arriving an hour late, typically, Paris received her large, oversized trophy from the staff of Harvard’s humor magazine.

One of the Lampoon’s members, Hayes Davenport, said “The sporadically given honor is much like the Harvard Hasty Pudding award, but better than or equal to Woman of the Year. The choice was pretty easy when you think of who’s had the most profound effect on our lives.”

Paris accepted her award and jokingly told the crowd, “Thank you all for coming. An international icon meets countless people every day.” Maybe she was joking.

It’s a failure, bringing in only $9,000 on Friday despite her many efforts to promote the film. Surprise!
