On Saturday, Paul Newman, a true screen hero and celebrity for more than half a century has died at the age of 83,it was announced Saturday.

Newman succumbed Friday after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by  his family and close friends at his farmhouse near Westport, Conn.

Famed for his intense blue eyes, his love of car racing and one of the coolest demeanors ever to heat up the silver screen, Newman was nominated for Oscars ten times.

But perhaps his proudest accomplishment, besides his 50-year marriage to actress Joanne Woodward, was starting Newman’s Own, which since 1982 has made popcorn, spaghetti sauce, lemonade and salad dressing and has donated more than $250 million to charities selected by Newman himself

The beautiful actress and Ryan Reynolds made it official this weekend. Yes, you’ve read well. She just got married and she was satisfied with a quiet wedding. Heather Locklear has been arrested and released by police in Santa Barbara County, People magazine reports.

The 47-year-old actress was arrested and held Saturday night, People quotes the California Highway Patrol as saying. No details on charges were available and Locklear was released from custody on Sunday.

Locklear left a treatment facility in Arizona in July after receiving four weeks of treatment for anxiety and depression.

Kanye West won’t face felony charges for the tussle with the paparazzi on  Sept. 11,the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

Kanye was arrested on 11 Sept at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism. THe initial reports said this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.Several witnesses were then interviewed by police

It seems that when West noticed that he was being photographed he rushed the photographer,grabbed his camera and threw it to the ground, breaking it into pieces.

After more than 2 weeks from the incident, L.A. City Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case for a possible misdemeanor charge, office spokesman Frank Mateljan said.

Both West and Crawley(his manager who was also arrested for asault and vandalism) are now free on bail.

Those who watched the Emmys’ night had a pleasant surprise seeing Heidi Klum making some funny jokes. But in that night the blonde model didn’t just reaveal her undiscovered comic flair (especially when Tom Bergeron dropped her on the floor as an example of what makes people laugh ); she also revealed a new body accessory.

“It’s not that new,” the Project Runway star said of her abstract-looking tattoo on her right inner arm. “I’ve had it since May.”

The story behind the tattoo is that the drawing commemorates the renewal of vows with her husband, Seal:

“My husband and I always get married every year,” said Klum. “It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together. So it’s my husband’s name and our three children, their initials, in the [three] stars.”

This is a very romatic gesture. I just jope that they will be together forever, because from what I’ve heard those tattoos are kind of permanent.

You can kiss the cook goodbye! Even though Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the most present ladies in Hollywood, at home she replaces the red carpet with the kitchen carpet.

Yes, she doesn’t have a personal chef. She admitts that she loves food and liks to spoil er husband, Chris Martin and her two children.

“I cook all the meals for my house,” Paltrow declaed in New York Sunday at the launch party of her new PBS food show, Spain … On The Road Again, with her best pal Mario Batali. “I really love to cook.”

So what’s on the menu for Paltrow and her two children, Apple, 4, and Moses, 2?

“Breads and pizzas is what I’m cooking and we all love it,” she said. “We have a wood burning pizza oven in our garden. Right now the weather is nice in London, so I’m using that oven a lot. You can cook anything in there. It’s amazing.”

The actress inherited the passion and love for food from her late father, Bruce Paltrow, and now she is trying to improve one of her dad’s trademark recipes.

“My dad was a famous pancake maker and I’m working on [adapting his] recipe right now,” she said. “I’m making mine slightly healthier.”

France’s Musée des Arts Décoratifs has announced plans for an exhibition dedicated entirely to British supermodel.

Just yards from the Mona Lisa’s famous perch in the Louvre, the display will showcase Moss’s 19 years in the industry. Museum Director Beatrice Salmon explains the choice, saying that the museum intends to “decode the phenomenon” the supermodel has become.

“This is an occasion to ask a certain number of experts in image and communications to explain why and how [Kate has] become someone the whole world knows.” Moreover the  Museum’s press officer Marie Laure Moreau says that Kate Moss has agreed to cooperate and help with the exhibit.

The show will concentrate on her life, her career — and be a celebration of her 19 years.The show will be launched on  November 26 and you can see it until  April 25, 2010. Now the only thing that is missing is Kate Moss’s promise that will be present at the opening ceremony.

Long time no see. It’s been a while since I wrote something about Amy.Disproving everyone who thought she’d already hit rock bottom, Amy Winehouse was spotted earlier today looking worse than ever as she left her London home.

The troubled “Rehab” songstress has hit a new low, with unkempt hair, smudged makeup, stained shoes, and various scratches all over her legs.  She is scheduled to perform at the End of Summer Ball in Berkeley Square, so hopefully she cleans herself up.

Moreover,  report tells that Miss Winehouse may owe famed designer Harvey Nichols nearly $50,000 for a bevy of dresses he lent her that she returned without cleaning.

And the worst part is that they were stained with her vomit, as she wore one of the dresses on a wild night out during which she drank until she threw up… all over the dress.

The Daily Mirror reported, “Harvey Nichols loaned Amy (almost $50,000) worth of silk and satin dresses. Unfortunately, while wearing one of the frocks, she went on an all-night bender. She ended up in the loos (British for ‘bathroom), where she was violently sick. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty.”

“She eventually couriered them back on Monday, but didn’t wrap them separately. So sick had gone on all the clothes. Even worse, green, furry mold had developed on some gowns, making them unwearable.”

“The store publicists weren’t best pleased. They send stuff out to celebs all the time, but it never gets into such a state. I doubt Amy will be sent any more designer gear for a while and the store has now asked for its (money) back.”

British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools are expecting their third child.

“Jamie and his wife Jools are over the moon with the news,” says Oliver’s rep. “The due date is in April.”
