Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are ending their almost-eight-year marriage, a rep for the singer confirmed Wednesday.
“The main concern for Madonna and Guy are their children – the security of their children in all senses of the word and the wellbeing of their children,” rep Liz Rosenberg decared to the press. “That’s the priority for both of them moving forward. It’s a sad situation.”
The former couple, who have Rocco, 8, and David, 3, together and Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter Lourdes with ex Carlos Leon, announced their divorce in a statement.
“Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time,” says the statement.
The statement says they have not agreed to a settlement.
“The judgment of the court would be to try and assess what they came in with and divide what they built up fairly equally,” said David Allison, a lawyer with Family Law in Partnership, a London firm, told the Associated Press.
Madonna, is going to continue her Sticky and Sweet tour and is set to play Boston Wednesday night and her ex husband, Ritchie is in UK to direct his latest film, Sherlock Holmes.

Here is her secret! Victoria Beckham is obsessed with grapes – “I just can’t put them down.” But, she’s quick to say, it’s not some bizarre pre-maternity diet.
“I’m not pregnant, and I’m not trying to get pregnant at the moment,” she tells November’s U.K. edition of Glamour. “I’m so lucky to have the boys [Brooklyn, 9; Romeo, 6; and Cruz, 3] and they’re such great kids. Nice, free spirits and incredibly polite, which I think is very important.”
the 34 year old star adds: “But it takes a lot of energy, and the thought of having another baby now would be a little bit much. Maybe in a year or two but right now, I’m having amazing career opportunities and I want to enjoy the boys.”
And another amazing favourite thing for her is to COOK! As if….
“I’m very good at lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese,” she says.( aren’t we all good at lasagna and pasta? You put water, pasta and fturn on the fire…It’s magic I tell you!)
“I don’t eat them myself because I’m vegetarian. But for David the night before a game, it’s good to make sure he has protein and carbohydrates. … I’m very good at Dora The Explorer cupcakes too – out of a packet.”
Moreover the newcome designer talks about her kids that already caught the American accent:”Does it bother her? “Not really. The kids are so happy here [in Los Angeles]. I feel we are settled as a family. We go back to Britain to see family and friends, but this is a great place for all of us.”

When Kim has had it….Well she has had it once and for all. Being sick of all the rumours in the press that she has had like a trillion plastic surgeries, the beautiful Dancing with the Stars contestants, has set things right for everybody.
And now more than ever, having been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, Kim Kardashian needs a new way to remain in the spotlight.
With Reggie Bush likely to refuse to appear in a new sex tape, though, the reality TV star has taken to debunking rumors that never really existed in the first place.
In her latest blog, Kardashian shoots down talk that she’s had a boob job… by posting a busty image of herself when she was 14. Seems like an odd way to refute a story that never really had any traction, but we’ll quote Kim’s entry anyway:
This is a picture of me when I was about 14 years old in a bikini. I hope after seeing this you guys will never ask me a plastic surgery question again! I have had a size C since I was 11 years old! So one day I will definitely get a lift, but I am waiting until after I have kids. Until then I rely on a great supportive bra! LOL!

Gabriel Aubry can’t name the best part of being a father to daughter Nahla.
“I had no expectations so everything is a surprise,” Aubry told Us Weekly about fatherhood. “There is no best part. Everything is amazing!”
The boyfriend of Halle Berry isn’t as keen on marriage, however. Sorry, Sarah Palin, but he doesn’t see parenthood as a precursor to a wedding ceremony.
“We have no plans for marriage. We are more married than ever, really,” he said.

The adorable little girl, whose name means “honey bee” in Arabic, was born March 16 to Berry and boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey.

Even if this week announces to be event less on the on the Amy Winehouse death watch, just wait until Blake Fielder-Civil gets out of jail. Hold onto your hats.

After a year of torment for her family, Lynne Spears declares to People that she is cherishing her daughters and grandsons. In translation, this means that she is still tying to cash in as much as possible.
She means the things like taking Britney’s sons Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, for a spin in hergolf cart and planning a shopping trip with l’il Jamie Lynn Spears because 3-month-old Maddie Briann Aldridge is growing so fast.
“Some really wonderful things are happening now,” Lynne Spears, 53, said on Saturday. “It looks like things are looking up again.”
Lynne was the surprise guest speaker at the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) 20th annual convention in Grapevine, Texas, where she shared what it’s like to face criticism for the ways in which she raised Jamie Lynn and Britney Spears.
“I had a perfect little plan,” said Lynne Spears, who just released a memoir, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, and who has been a critic of the perceived unequal media treatment of Jamie Lynn Bristol Palin.
“But, you can’t control the [kids]‘ peers and you can’t control society.”
Lynne does acknowledge her own failures, though, and says all we can ask of ourselves is to do our best. Looking forward, she says she loves nothing more than doting on her three grandchildren, who call her “Me Maw.”

The way too skinny young actress, Amanda Bynes had some problems this weekend. Instead of enjoying her Saturday, she was involved in a minor car accident. The Los Angeles police confirmed that the accident took place Saturday afternoon and that there were no major injuries, so no victims.
“Ms. Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her,” LAPD Sgt. Murrel Pettway told PEOPLE. “It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed.”
“The other driver complained of minor injuries,” Sgt. Pettway added. “Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident. There was no serious damage to either vehicle.”

Ringing in her 25th birthday in Las Vegas, Nicky Hilton as the center of attention as she partied it up at Nicky Hilton had the chance to feel at least as important as her sister Paris “is”. In what circumstances? At her 25th birthday party at PURE nightclub at Caesars Palace on Saturday night (October 4).
Surrounded by family and friends, Nicky was spoiled with many gifts (as if she needed something else from what she already owns…like the planet). Another important partyer was her boyfriend David Katzenberg, as well as parents Rick and Kathy and sister Paris, who brought her rocker beau Benji Madden to share in the good times.
The night before, the Hilton sisters headed out on the town side-by-side, as the pair reportedly made a grand entrance down a staircase at LAX nightclub as Paris’ song “Stars Are Blind” played in the background.
In related news, Nicky recently talked in tears about the health condition of her plane crash-surviving pal DJ AM, saying: “I think considering the circumstances, he is doing really well. I think he has so many friends and family that have kept him going through this. It is just a horrible, horrible situation. He has so many people that love him.”

In celebration of her 36th birthday, Dita Von Teese was front-and-center at the Fendi ‘O’ party at Le Milliardaire club in Paris, France on Saturday night (October 4).
The burlesque beauty, whose actual birthday was a week ago (September 28), reveled with a celebrity guest list including Kylie Minogue, Daisy Lowe, Christian Louboutin, Alice Dellal, Pixie Geldof and Mr Perl, among others.
Meanwhile, Dita, who’s looking oh-so-sexy these days with a trim 23-inch waist, recently revealed how she maintains her slim figure.
She told Look magazine: “With my diet, I just use common sense. I don’t eat cheeseburgers every day and I try to make good choices about food. My vice is cookies with milk. To keep fit I do yoga, Pilates and ballet. I hate the gym, so I have one of those mini trampolines to bounce on.”
During her recent interview, Dita also criticized celebrities who are unwilling to admit to having plastic surgery.
She explains, “It’s no secret that I had my breasts done. When I was a teenager, I had quite full boobs and I went through a period in my life where I was partying and doing drugs. I lost a lot of weight and my boobs never came back. I will never apologize for having it done. I just wish more celebrities admitted to it.”
