Guinevere Pettigrew is a middle-aged governess who lives in London and one day is dismissed from her job with no reason. As she tries to get new employment she will find herself in the world of fame and glamor that surrounds the American actress and singer Delysia Lafosse.

The two women will have to face a love and life career and the complicated life of the star. Love, money, fame, bussiness, discover all these in this wonderful film that combine comedy and drama in order to obtain a film that will raise your interest for the life of the 1930’s - 1940’s.
