Rumours about Carey’s wedding are already history. Yes she got maried in the most realistic way. Her official husband now is none other than Nick Cannon. The two lovers were together for a long time and they decided that 2008 will be the lucky year.

So the wedding was the real deal and they answered the question once and for all on April 30. The guys from PEOPLE magazine have obtained exclusive photos from the event. We will be able to see them this Friday when the magazine will be published.

“We really do feel we are soulmates,” Carey tells PEOPLE, following their sunset ceremony at the pop star’s Bahamian estate. “I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.”

Cannon adds: “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside.”
