Kanye West won’t face felony charges for the tussle with the paparazzi on  Sept. 11,the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

Kanye was arrested on 11 Sept at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism. THe initial reports said this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.Several witnesses were then interviewed by police

It seems that when West noticed that he was being photographed he rushed the photographer,grabbed his camera and threw it to the ground, breaking it into pieces.

After more than 2 weeks from the incident, L.A. City Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case for a possible misdemeanor charge, office spokesman Frank Mateljan said.

Both West and Crawley(his manager who was also arrested for asault and vandalism) are now free on bail.

Kanye West has never been one to shy away from outrageous fashion — or saying what’s on his mind. So when he had an issue with a quote of his in a New York Times story about Paris Fashion Week, he took to his own blog to clear it up, explaining:

” I love fashion and this is one of the funnest things we can make time for!. . Only time will show my true love MY FIRST LOVE is for fashion and I appreciate just being in a position 2 afford 2 be able 2 spend a week in Paris visiting shows.”

He continues on, saying:

“I wish everyone could have this experience, the new music you hear, the new people you meet and most of all the beautiful clothes!” As for the idea that designers might not want him at their shows because of his attention-grabbing presence in the front row, he passionately defends their right to invite whomever they’d like.

“Balenciaga is one of the illest lines right now and I don’t feel any type of way about not getting in! . . .I understand that some designers don’t want all that unnecessary commotion at there shows, that’s what I mean by ‘I get a lot of attention’” And his true desire is just to bring music and fashion closer together, “I just want 2 make great art on every level and fashion shows are one of the best forms of art in the world. Thank you Paris again for the inspiration!!!”
