Kanye West gets away from vandalism charges against paparazzo
Kanye West won’t face felony charges for the tussle with the paparazzi on Sept. 11,the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.
Kanye was arrested on 11 Sept at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism. THe initial reports said this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.Several witnesses were then interviewed by police
It seems that when West noticed that he was being photographed he rushed the photographer,grabbed his camera and threw it to the ground, breaking it into pieces.
After more than 2 weeks from the incident, L.A. City Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case for a possible misdemeanor charge, office spokesman Frank Mateljan said.
Both West and Crawley(his manager who was also arrested for asault and vandalism) are now free on bail.
