After spending time together in New York last weekend, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer turned up in Los Angeles for a night out with friends.

The 29 yera old blond and her 30 year old boyfriend along with three of their friends arrived late Tuesday night at the Sunset Tower Hotel for dinner at the Tower Bar, where Aniston nibbled on a grilled chicken salad while chatting with the group.

“They left out the back of the hotel and were very discreet,” says a source. “Jen was leading but John walked very closely behind her when they left.”

Earlier in the evening, Aniston – sans Mayer – supported pal Courteney Cox Arquette at the Glamour Reel Moments premiere.So is it that another ove story ended? Jen and Meyer became again just friends? At least it was a beautiful love for the couple of moths it had lasted.

Multiple sources confirm that the already famous couple – Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer- is close to extinct. :

“They had a great time together but they are just in different places in their lives right now,” a source declares about the two former lovers.

Another friend of Josh Mayer’s keeps an optimistic tone and beliefs that there is still some hope for a reconciliation

: “He never ends things with a clean slate. He likes to dwell on these relationships and sort everything out before saying goodbye for good.” He sounds like a keeper to me.

 However, things may not be as pink as they seem from an outer view. The rumours about the split appeared last week after a separation period taken by the actors.
However there is no official declaration yet, from Aniston’s or Mayer’s representatives.

Former Friends stars Courteney Cox Arquette and Jennifer Aniston have joined forces for a good cause.On the same wavelength is also Aniston’s former husband: Brad Pitt.

They are all serving on the honorary advisory board of Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, not to mention Cox’s husband David Arquette and fellow couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale – and Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, James Marsden and Eva Longoria Parker.

Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare and debilitating genetic skin condition that primarily affects children. Cox and Arquette are helping spearhead the awareness- and money-raising effort on behalf of research – with a goal of $1 million in two weeks, the Associated Press reports.

“EB is very personal to me so I’m happy to be a part of this $1 million challenge,” Cox said in a statement. “Now is such an important time to put the spotlight on EB and ensure that research can continue at a fast pace.”

It was a mix of business and pleasure on Friday – with the actress hanging out and reading her script at the Mandarin Oriental pool, before getting in some retail therapy a day later.

Aniston hit the Bal Harbour Shops, sipping a cup of specialty coffee as she walked briskly around the elegant mall with her two bodyguards – and made stops at Chanel, Ferragamo, Gucci, Neiman Marcus and Prada.

She capped it all off with a girls’ night out dinner at Blue Door at Delano, dining on the restaurant’s terrace (and saved from the chilly weather by some outdoor heaters).
