Jen Aniston, Courteney Cox and others for Children’s Cause
Former Friends stars Courteney Cox Arquette and Jennifer Aniston have joined forces for a good cause. On the same wavelength is also Aniston’s former husband: Brad Pitt.
They are all serving on the honorary advisory board of Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, not to mention Cox’s husband David Arquette and fellow couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale – and Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, James Marsden and Eva Longoria Parker.
Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare and debilitating genetic skin condition that primarily affects children. Cox and Arquette are helping spearhead the awareness- and money-raising effort on behalf of research – with a goal of $1 million in two weeks, the Associated Press reports.
“EB is very personal to me so I’m happy to be a part of this $1 million challenge,” Cox said in a statement. “Now is such an important time to put the spotlight on EB and ensure that research can continue at a fast pace.”
Again all the respect for these stars who can spend money on some other thing than fashion and cars. They are an example to be followed by all those in Hollywood
