Eva Mendes does November issue of “Vogue”
What is her opinion about the stir appeared over her banned commercial for Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession?
This is what the beautiful latino actress declared:in the November issue of Vogue: “I love my country, but I believe that we are too quick to censor nudity.We seem okay with violence, but nudity we race to criticize and censor. I’m not at all ashamed or frightened about showing my body.”
Mendes considers also that she doesn’t care very much about her being considered a sex object: “I love it, but it’s not important to me to always be thought of as sexy. I like it when it doesn’t limit my career. It’s a part of my life, but on a secondary plane.”
And as a bonus she reveals the secret to her fit body: diet and exercise: “I try not to go crazy, but yes, I pay attention to what I eat,” she says. “I try to stay away from pasta, bread, cakes, sweets, cookies and ice cream.”
The actress – currently starring in The Women – talks about her Latin temperament: “I don’t usually lose my temper, but if I get angry, it’s true – I’m scary. I scare my boyfriend!”
