I’m not insane to start writing about shoes just from nowhere. But with all this Oscar insanity, it’s impossible to ignore such an accessory. Apparently these shoes look quite mediocre, the design is classic, the colour is also ordinary. Just guess the price tag on them. No matter how shopaholic you would be, you couldn’t pay that much for these “beauties”. If someone buys them just let me know to call her and congratulate about the smart move she made.

Designer Stuart Weitzman created these shoes — priced at $1 million — for Juno writer Diablo Cody to wear to Sunday’s Academy Awards.

The ‘Retro Rose’ shoe features two Kwiat diamond roses, fixed to 1940’s-style beige metallic T-strap high heels. More than 1,800 Kwiat diamonds weighing 100 carats were used to make the roses and 400 of them have been incorporated into the design of the shoe, which is worth over $1 million.

We are so proud of Diablo for making the brave choice to wear a ridiculously overpriced pair of shoes that we will barely see under her Oscar gown instead of doing something better with a million dollars. Some celebrities just need to redo their set of values and priorities. Please give me 200$ and I will buy you a pair 10 time better looking than this one.
