Beyonce is working on her new album. Nothing new. But 70 songs ?Come on Beyonce, are you preparing a dozen of albums?

“I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me,” the 27 year old singer writes about her upcoming album – due Nov. 18 – in a post on her official Web site. “I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me.”

Knowles she has not yet confirmed a title or track listing for the set. She did announce that the disc will be preceded by two singles, “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies,” which be released on Oct. 7.

Most importantly, the singer says her new music reflects who she is now – personally and sonically.

“I have worked on this album for close to one year,” she writes. “I have taken the time so I can create my sound. Something that says who I am at this stage in my life. I have poured my heart and soul into it. It is my baby. It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny’s Child,” her posting says.

As for the sound, “The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side,” Knowles writes. “I have taken risks here. I am not afraid and my music will explain it all.”

There is nothing yet confirmed by the couple, but a close friend declared: “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a
really private affair – close friends and family.”

After the ceremony there was a party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

It all began last Tuesday when the couple went to get a marriage license at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday.

DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, was hired to spin. “Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for Jay Z and Beyoncé’s wedding party to happen,” says another source.

Moreover it seems that Amy’s Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a “big party.” There were also waiters seen at the apartment.

Here is what Beyonce declared in January 2006 in a Cosmopolitan interview: “I never pictured myself as a bride, but after my sister’s wedding, I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I’d want. I don’t think I want a big one.”

That being said,Beyonce and JAy-Z rrived alone, at Scarsdale Village Hall around 9 a.m on Tuesday to get their marriage license. An eywitness declares: “They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy.”

So are they really having this as a wedding? Although a rep for Beyoncé, had no comment and a rep for Jay-Z, could not be reached, this visit to the courthouse is the solid proof that we all needed.

THey first started dating in 2002, and rumours about a possible wedding have been following them for ages.

This is what Beyonce told Cosmopolitan on January 2006 “I don’t know when I’ll want to get married. I never pictured myself as a bride, but after my sister’s wedding, I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I’d want. I don’t think I want a big one.”

A year later, she told InStyle, “Maybe me and my man will go away to an island; maybe we’ll go to a church. I have no idea.”
