According to USA Today, the stunt was part of the actor’s new, eight-episode E! series called Pop Fiction, which takes aim at gullible paparazzi and media outlets.

(In Hilton’s case, the so-called “guru” was actually Maxie Santillan Jr., an actor who has appeared on CSI and My Name Is Earl.)

“We live in a culture that’s driven by media and obsessed with celebrity,” Kutcher’s producing partner, Jason Goldberg, told the paper, adding that about 20 celebrities have signed on to the project. “Two people going out to eat turns into, ‘They’re engaged.’ It’s a feeding fenzy.”

So what does Kutcher — who infamously played pranks on celebrities like Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles for MTV’s Punk’d — hope to accomplish by tricking the media?

“We’re having fun,” Goldberg says of the project, which had been top-secret — until now. “But we want to say to people, ‘Can you really believe everything you read and see?’ “

“Look, I would be lying if I said I don’t have moments of panic when I look in the mirror and see things creeping in that weren’t there before,” Moore, 45, tells Harper’s Bazaar for its April issue, about getting older. “But now I stop, and instead of focusing on my flaws, I think about all that I have in my life.”

Those rewards are not only tangible, she says, but human: “I have a wonderful marriage, I have three wonderful daughters, I have an incredible extended family, and I have loving, wonderful friends.”

As a result, she says, “when I look back in the mirror, the reflection I see isn’t so bad, because I’m seeing the beauty of my whole being and my whole life.”

Insofar as her initial reaction to Kutcher’s being beside her mom, Tallulah says: “I was in fourth grade, so it didn’t hit me as much as it did Scout and Rumer. But it still hit me a little, and it still does now. I find it weird that people think my stepdad is hot.”

Scout also notices another change that overtook her mother – ever since Moore took up studying Kabbalah. “She has always moved from religion to religion according to the stages in her life,” says the teen. “Kabbalah is the one she has stuck with the most. I respect that she and Ashton are doing it.”

A major health scare surrounding Ashton Kutcher’s 30th birthday party has A-list celebrities running scared – and being told they must be tested for hepatitis. Therefore all the party guests are being urged by the New York City health department to be vaccinated against Hepatitis A.

A waitress at the Feb. 7 party at New York club Socialista tested positive for hepatitis A, a source at the New York Board of Health confirms to Star.

“A report will go out tomorrow that everyone who was at the club at Feb. 7, 8 and 11 will need to be tested,” says the source. Madonna, Kate Hudson, Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu, Liv Tyler, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart celebrated with Ashton and his wife Demi Moore.

Other guests included Salma Hayek and her husband, Lake Bell, Molly Sims, Amy Smart, Ivanka Trump, Parker Posey, Ali Larter, stylist Rachel Zoe, and designer Roberto Cavalli.

It was an excuse for the celebs to do what they love best–get dressed up and play games. De Grisogono hosted the first annual Hollywood Domino Tournament at the Beverly Hills Hotel and all the ladies got dressed up in old-school Hollywood style, while the boys put on their finest duds. However, it seems none of the guys could find the time to actually shave, so they all look pretty scruffy. I don’t get that look at all.

Aside from that fact, everybody looked fabulous in their throwback outfits and Rumer Willis totally looks like she’s rocking a Project Runway dress.
