Drawing an end to all of the pregnancy speculation, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were the center of attention at the 2008 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday (February 23).Accompanied by her partner Brad Pitt, the Beowulf babe was aglow in a conservative black dress that flowed over her growing tummy.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Jolie’s baby bump was on full display as she stepped out with Pitt in “a black, silk-crepe dress by Western Costume, jewelry from Irene Neuwirth, and Christian Louboutin shoes.”

And while the Mr and Mrs Smith co-stars skipped the press line (refusing to talk about their baby-on-the-way), a source close to the couple has since told People magazine that Brangelina are “thrilled to be adding to their brood.” Another insider adds, “They are very, very happy.”

Both Brad and Angelina are slated to make appearances at tomorrow night’s Academy Awards, as well. Let’s just hope that Angelina can get the rest that she needs as an expecting mother.

The Jolie-Pitt family currently consists of Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 1. Last week, the couple’s adoption of Pax was finally made official after a trip to the courthouse.
